Frank Nemia, an Engineering Design Principal with Kling, is a registered Professional Engineer with over 23 years of experience in the design of mechanical and electrical building systems. Mr. Nemia provides primary engineering leadership and oversight of the work on projects in the HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building automation and electrical services disciplines. This includes overall responsibility for the development of initial criteria, system concepts, life cycle cost analysis, energy consumption modeling, preparation of detailed construction documents; and coordination of activities with other disciplines, outside agencies and the client. Mr. Nemia is responsible for the coordination of the design and construction with all phases of structural, architectural, and general construction trades. He works closely with the project owner and client to maintain quality, efficiency and continuity of the design and construction processes.
Mr. Nemia's broad range of experience encompasses many facility types including: mixed-use, residential, office buildings, process and distribution centers, casinos, hotels, retail stores, malls, historical renovation, churches, high-rise, pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing, bio-containment, clean rooms, data centers, education and health care. This broad base of knowledge and experience allows Mr. Nemia to apply the myriad of technologies and strategies available to most effectively address the distinct goals and objectives of each individual project.
Mr. Nemia received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a LEED 2.0 Accredited Professional.
