Brian began his career in mission-critical fire protection in 1987 with Orr Protection
Systems. He has since conducted business across North America, the Caribbean, Asia
and Europe providing consulting services and furnishing fire protection systems in
mission critical applications for General Electric, Procter & Gamble, AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Banc, Fidelity Investments, Lockheed Martin and others.
Brian, a 1983 mechanical engineering graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology, is a licensed Professional Engineer in 21 States and provides educational
programs to the general public, engineering firms and corporations, as well as
organizations such as SFPE, IEEE, 7x24 Exchange and the US National Park Service.
He serves on technical committees for NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm Code, NFPA 101
Life Safety Code and the NFPA Fire Protection in Nuclear Facilities (NFPA 801, 804 &
805).
A native of Indiana, Brian is married, with two sons and resides in Cincinnati, Ohio,
USA.
