Peter Gross serves as EYP's Chief Executive Officer. Since joining Einhorn, Yaffee, Prescott, Architecture and Engineering Inc. in 1997, he has founded and has been actively involved in the development and the rapid growth of the Mission Critical Engineering practice. His duties include strategic planning, technical oversight and business development.
His focus centers on understanding the major trends shaping this industry and securing EYP's thought leadership position.
Peter has published numerous technical papers and is a frequent speaker on the subjects of high-performance critical facilities, ultra-reliable design and power quality. He has more than 20 years experience in the engineering and design of data centers, trading floors, Command and Control Centers, telecommunication and broadcasting facilities.
Prior to joining EYP MCF, Peter was Chief Engineer, 400 Hz Power Conversion and UPS Systems for the Inet Division of Teledyne Inc. and was a partner at PRK Associates, a consulting firm based in Los Angeles.
Peter is a Senior IEEE Member and a Registered Professional Engineer in CA, AZ and NY. He is one of the founders of the Critical Power Coalition, an organization developing public policies for improving the reliability and the quality of electric power in the public and private sectors. Peter graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Romania with a degree in electrical engineering, and he received an MBA from California State University.
