Daniel Parker has been a principal of Hood - Patterson & Dewar (HPD) for over ten years, and has served as its President since 2003. HPD is a leading provider of electrical and mechanical testing, consulting and commissioning services for mission critical facilities across the country and around the world. Dan has extensive experience in control system analysis, control modification and troubleshooting for UPS, generator, substation and automated control systems in many computer data centers, commercial high rise buildings and industrial plants. For over 25 years, his expertise has included conceptual design services, peer review, factory acceptance testing and on-site commissioning. Dan graduated in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
