Ms. Heimann is the President and CEO of Enginuity Worldwide LLC, a company focused on market-led development and commercializing of new approaches, and new technology. The Enginuity strategy is based on accessing opportunities for innovation-led market capture, with an emphasis on matching large market opportunities with step-change innovation approaches. Current innovation work is in the areas of renewable energy, biomass to power, sustainability planning, and nanotechnology for surface chemistry. Prior to starting Enginuity, she held positions of General Manager, Research Director, and Business Development Director with multiple companies within the Orscheln Industries family of companies. Orscheln is a Midwest-based, privately held, conglomerate that includes Tier One supply to the transportation industry, land development, and a chain of 100+ farm and hardware supply stores. She joined Orscheln in October 1995 and led innovation groups for ten years. Her previous positions included Director of Pharmaceutical Research for ABC Laboratories, and Design Engineer for Riley Enterprises. Ms. Heimann has success commercializing technology on a global scale and has twenty-five years of multi-disciplinary experience in multiple areas, including disciplined commercialization strategies, demand-driven product development, technology management, strategic planning and operations management. |
