Carl Cottuli is Vice President of the Datacenter Science group at APC. In 2007, Schneider Electric acquired APC and formed the Critical Power & Cooling Services (CPCS) Business Unit, which includes the APC and MGE UPS Systems brands. The CPCS Business Unit reported revenue of $3.5 billion in 2007 and employs 12,000 people worldwide. Schneider Electric, with 112,000 employees and operations in 190 countries, had 2007 annual sales of $25 billion (�17.3 billion).
Carl has the responsibility for setting and communicating the corporate position for new trends in datacenter technology. Carl comes to the Science Center from APC's Global Service Organization where he was the architect for the management and organization of sales and service completion from installation through the life of the product at a global level. This team of engineers assists the company in ensuring availability in the area of network-critical physical infrastructure (NCPI).
Carl has over twenty years experience in the electrical design and installation industry and holds a degree in Electronic Engineering and has a background in integrated circuit manufacturing industry.
