Tim Cortes is chief technical officer of PDI. In his position as CTO, Tim is responsible for leading the R&D and product development organizations. Tim brings almost 20 years of power experience. As director of Engineering at ESS Technologies, Tim successfully built and managed the company's product development organization. As part of his role, Tim was deeply involved in the implementation of the product development process as well as the development of product and technology roadmaps. Prior to ESS Technologies, Tim was at Exide Technologies where he lead the product development for stationary, motive, and next generation large format lithium batteries for Exide's Industrial Energy Group.
