Michael Siteman

Michael Siteman is an independent consultant with extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry as a tenant representative specializing in data center transactions, site selection, commercial real estate leases, data center development, technology business brokerage, Cloud-services, colocation contracts and service level agreements.

Beginning his career in the music industry, Michael transitioned to commercial real estate specializing in data center site selection and negotiations aligning with many companies including The Staubach Company, Base Partners, JLL. A deepening interest and concentration on the data center and IT operations world led Michael to stints with Digital Realty, M-Theory Group, and INAP (formerly Internap Corporation).

While working at JLL, and networking with more data center colleagues, Michael realized there was a need in the Southern California area for a 7×24 Exchange Chapter. Along with four others (Alison Kermode, Steve Nguyen, Jerry Burkhardt, and Eric James), Michael co-founded the 7×24 Exchange International Southern California Chapter in 2010. Two years later, Michael was invited to join the Board of Directors as its Chapter Representative.

“I have found my work on the Chapter level and Board level of 7×24 Exchange to be a richly rewarding experience, and continue to be so impressed not only the leadership at the Board level, but also the growth and quality of the chapters and their membership. The fact that the organization and its chapters operate as non-profit associations has everything to do with the value that it adds to the mission critical world.”
