Dan McGroary is a Senior Project Manager with Bala Consulting Engineers, where he also fulfills the role of Data Center Market Sector leader, responsible for the development of standards and innovations to meet the needs of Bala's Data Center Clients.
Mr. McGroary has over 22 years of experience in the Design, Engineering, and Construction fields, designing critical facilities infrastructure for Data Center, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare clients.
After studying Electrical Engineering at Villanova University, Mr. McGroary started his career in the consulting engineering field, and worked as Chief Engineer for a consulting firm in the greater Philadelphia area. Prior to his present position at Bala, Dan held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer, where he was responsible for designing mission critical distribution systems. Mr. McGroary also brings a unique knowledge from the electrical construction perspective, having spent 9 yrs. as the Director of Engineering for one of the East Coast's largest electrical construction firms, where he also held an electrical contractors license, and was responsible for design and build projects for various critical data center facilities.

Dan has been an active member of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the 7x24 Exchange for 8 years.
