Karl Wyatt is a Senior Technical Advisor in Intel's Enterprise Solutions Sales division, Software and Solutions Group. He has 30 years of technology development and leadership experience, spanning a broad topical range including superconducting generators, gas discharge physics, continuum electromechanics, heterojunction transistor design, free space optoelectronics, holographic displays, advanced semiconductor package design, manufacturing process modeling, multi-gigabit IO design and, most recently, data center power-thermal optimization. He holds 14 patents and has specialized in accelerating new technology market introductions by combining advanced simulation and modeling with and rigorous, product and system validation. He consults with a variety of Fortune 500 companies who are integrating facilities, data center operations, real estate, IT, engineering and P&L stakeholders to optimize information technology asset capacity planning and management. He holds a BSEE from the Tennessee State University, and MSEE and PhDEE degrees from MIT. Karl is and his wife, Lori, a Tuskeegee University veterinarian, have one daughter.
