Opportunities to Engage your WiMCO® Community
Thank you for registering for the WiMCO® Alignment Meeting on May 1st via Zoom. The session, moderated by Larisa Dalton, Applied Marketing, Johnson Controls, Inc., was attended by women and men in the data center industry.
Kate Thomas, Business Development, Rx Monitoring Services, Inc. and Member of the NY Metro Chapter WiMCO Community shared details about the recent Paint & Sip, golf lessons during the Golf Tournament and a presentation to an all-girls high school about data center careers on International Data Center Day. Megan Baird, Associate, Land Development, Bohler, and Vice Chair of the Greater Washington DC Chapter WiMCO Committee discussed how the Greater Washington DC Chapter has offered weekly golf lessons to help women feel more comfortable on the golf course, conducts quarterly in-person meet ups, Wake Up with WiMCO online sessions, chapter engagement, challenges, successes, and more.
Overall, the session focused on being as collaborative as possible, having fun, and continuing to incorporate WiMCO within 7×24 Exchange Chapter events. At the end of the session, attendees participated in breakout rooms, shared experiences, and provided suggestions for future programming.
The session closed with WiMCO Committee Chair Juli Ierulli, Vice President, 7×24 Exchange International, sharing upcoming WiMCO events, resources, and contacts.
